7 Erste Terrasse
DE 1. TERRASSE
Mit der 1. Terasse befindet man sich ca. 50 Meter über Grund und hat das Ende des Sandsteinfelsen auf der Südseite in etwa erreicht, während der Fels auf der Nordseite sogar fast das Niveau der 2. Terasse erreicht. Darunterliegend mussten also alle Räumlichkeiten und Treppenaufgänge aus dem gewachsenen Fels herausgemeiselt werden. Diese Arten von Burgen werden schlichtweg als „Felsenburgen“ bezeichnet. Erwähnenswert ist hier noch der Turm „Kleinfrankreich“ auf dem gegenüberliegenden „Nestelsberg“. Zwischen ihm und der Burg wurde Ende des 15.Jahrhunderts eine unterirdische
Verbindung geschaffen, die es erlaubte die Angreifer in ein verheerendes Kreuzfeuer zu nehmen. Das Spannungsfeld zwischen Angriff und Verteidigung wird heute im Volksmund noch das „Leichfeld“ genannt.
EN 1. TERRACE
The first terrace is about 50 meters above ground and has roughly reached the end of the sandstone rock on the south side, while the rock on the north side almost reaches the level of the second terrace. end of the 15th century, an underground connection was created between it and the castle, which allowed the attackers to be caught in a devastating crossfire. The tension between attack and defense is still popularly called the “Leichfeld” today.

La première terrasse se trouve à environ 50 mètres du sol et atteint à peu près l‘extrémité du rocher de grès du côté sud, tandis que le rocher du côté nord atteint presque le niveau de la deuxième terrasse. Toutes les pièces et escaliers devaient donc se trouver en dessous sont creusés dans la roche cultivée. Ces types de châteaux sont simplement appelés « châteaux de roche ». A noter ici la tour « Petite France » sur le « Nestelsberg » en face. À la fin du XVe siècle, une liaison souterraine fut créée entre elle et le château, ce qui permit aux assaillants d‘être pris entre deux feux. entre l’attaque et la défense est encore aujourd’hui communément.
