DE EHEMALIGER WEHRTURM
Im 15. Jahrhundert rüstete der damalige Besitzer, Ritter Hans von Drodt, die Burg auf die innovativste Verteidigungstechnik der damaligen Zeit um, nämlich die Pulverwaffen. Er ließ hierzu insgesamt 5 Wehrtürme auf der Nord-Ost-Seite errichten; jeder dieser Türme besaß eine unterirdische Anbindung an die Hauptburg.

EN FORMER DEFENSIVE TOWER
In the 15th century, the then owner, knight Hans von Drodt, equipped the castle the most innovative defense technology of the time, namely the powder weapons. For this purpose, he had a total of 5 defensive towers built on the north-east side; each of these towers had an underground connection to the main castle.

FR ANCIENNE TOUR DÉFENSIVE
Au XVe siècle, le propriétaire de l‘époque, le chevalier Hans von Drodt, aménagea le château la technologie de défense la plus innovante de l‘époque, à savoir les armes à poudre. À cet effet, il fit construire un total de 5 tours défensives du côté nord-est ; chacune de ces tours avait une connexion souterraine avec le château principal.
